Dr. Lane graduated from Syracuse University where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Retail Management and Consumer Studies, with minors in Biology and Chemistry. During her time there, she interned in the small mammal department of the Rosamond Gifford Zoo, was an active member of the varsity women’s rowing team and pursued a unique opportunity to study Community Wildlife Management in Kenya. 

Following undergraduate studies, Dr. Lane attended Michigan State University and graduated as a DVM in 2010. She completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Oradell Animal Hospital and then returned to her home town in Southern New Jersey in 2011. 

Dr. Lane has served the community as an emergency/general practice clinician and spent many years as a medical director. On the horizon has always been a dream to own a veterinary hospital. With Seaport Veterinary Center opening in 2022, that vision has come to fruition. 

Special interests include preventive and senior care, ultrasound and surgery. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, cooking, wine tasting and exploring the outdoors.
